Frequently Asked Questions
Below you will find answers to some of our most common questions. If your question has not been answered, please give us a call on 020 8520 2275.
Q: Do you offer a free quotation?
A: All our work is quoted free of charge. We regret that we do not have the facility to quote or compete for domestic projects as these are often better suited to a general contractor.
Q: Can you source all materials and manage our work?
A: Yes. All our jobs include sourcing materials and handling all on site employees to ensure all works are completed to the Fullers standard. Many of our previous clients have required specialist materials/items on site which we are able to source from our varied database of suppliers. If you have specific requirements, or would like us to use a preferred supplier, we are more than happy to provide this service.
Q: Is there a waiting list for you to commence works?
A: This is dependent upon the time of year and the type of works. Please give us a call to receive an up-to-date response.
Q: Who will manage my project?
A: All projects are overseen by Mr Fuller with the assistance of Laine Manoli and Ian Roberts.
Q: Are all the photographs your own work?
A: Yes. All photographs have either been taken by professional photographers at the end of projects or are on-site progress shots by our own members of staff. All photographers have been credited for their work.
Q: How long is my quotation valid for?
A: With the ever-changing economic climate, our quotations are only valid for 6 months. If you would like to discuss a longer period of validity, please give us a call to discuss.
Q. What information do I need to provide about my project?
A. Any architect’s drawings, specifications, photographs, overview of works would be helpful to provide you with a detailed quotation. We may also need to visit the project and will normally contact you to arrange a suitable time and date.
Q. Do you work on day rates?
A. Some of our smaller projects are day-rate based, due to the type of work. This usually means that the works to be undertaken can be performed within a general timescale/budget by one or two employees rather than being based on the works required.
Q. Do you tender for projects/work?
A. Yes. A lot of our projects come from architects who have approached us directly requesting our inclusion on a tender list. We regret that we are unable to compete with more than 3 other contractors.
Q. Are you a main contractor?
A. Yes. Fullers Builders are main contractors on 99% of the projects we complete, with the ability to manage projects of varying sizes up to a maximum contract value of £1,750,000.00
